Rose

  • Colour: Pink, Salmon, roasted salmon, blush, baby pink
  • Winemaking: From red grapes with short skin contact for colour. Any variety can be used, but Pinot Noir is popular
  • Aromas: Red fruits – strawberry, raspberry dust, cherry, cranberry
  • Palate: Moderate alcohol and acidity
  • Food pairing: Red curry prawn salad

Pinot Noir

  • Top Australian Regions: Yarra Valley, Mornington Peninsula, Tasmania, Adelaide Hills
  • Colour: Cherry. Brick/ brown with age
  • Aromas and flavours: Cherry, raspberry, cranberry, strawberry. Toast, vanilla, clove from oak
  • Palate: moderate acidity, light-medium body, silky tannins
  • Food pairing: duck and medium meats
